Members Deep Bass
Pack the item and go to USPS or UPS and get an actual cost of shipping and insurance. As with any ebay sale: Don't ship before you get the cash. Tell him that he is responsible for any duties (import taxes) on his end. I sold something on Ebay to someone in the UK, and believe it or not, USPS was the cheapest way to ship. I had the guy pay with a Western Union money order; they're in nearly every country. Members RoboChrist
I've shipped to France a couple times, never had any problems....best thing to to is give an exact price, don't ball park it. And pack it well...other than that, piece of cake.
Members Jazz Ad
USPS is cheap and you get around taxes most of the time.If it's a bass and the guy has no problem with it, taking off the neck and strings will make the package smaller and cheaper. Members btb&dr=tone
It looks like the cost is over $400.00 is that right. That is UPS not USPS.

Members Jazz Ad
What are you sending ?A bass shouldn't cost more than 100 to ship.
Members BassDemon
Each time I've had a bass Fedex'd from BassNW it's been $180 USD UPS quoted slightly more. The last was 4 years ago (eeek ! no new basses for 4 years, time to start shopping) France is a lot closer so I'd be surprised if it's more than $
