I just cashed out my 401k and have a little spendin' money that just begs to be thrown at my rig/gear. I honestly can't think of anything else except a wireless system, but thats a little more and wont "change" or mod my tone any. Since i'm not playing in a band now, it's hard to know what I need/want. And yes, T.Alan Smith, I have your old rack. If it gets any more weight in it, im gonna have to put new handles on it. Those plastic ones are cracking. Maybe i'll sit on it and see what I need in the future. I still want to "built" a P/J bass. Maybe (gasp) an SX with mods? Members Hamer-Bass-Head Posted January 24, 2007 Members Share Posted January 24, 2007 shop around for a zoom rfx 1xxx or 2xxx series. they're under $200 new, get a cheap midi pedal and have a whole bunch of cool effects with the settings you want at the touch of a button.
