Members Bassopotamus
whats the deal with it, could i order a guitar from it? From what I've read, a custom from the fender custom shop starts around 4500 bucks (Street) and goes up depending on options. Depending on what you want, there may be other ways to get similar features for way less if it doesn't have to say fender on it.
Members heartsndspades
i know someone who got quoted for a 72'(?) jazz cs type deal for less than 4 g's.

I'd take a custom shop over any late 70s model I've played, but that's just me. That said, for 4500 bucks, you can get a crap ton of bass from a number of makers. Members heartsndspades
if it was in the lower 3000's mine would be a fender, the only other basses i would spend over that on would be ritter, or benevante from what ive tried
Members jannda
I wouldn't spend that kind of money on any fener even if were gold plated holy bejesus if I had and I don't kind of money to spend on a bass it would probably be an ALEMBIC and or a RICKY.
