And, sure, gain works on the Traynor for distortion...Awesomely! Looking for options, including going from tight gain set to 4 to distortion with just a stomp box button. Well? Anyone? Members mistermike Posted April 4, 2007 Members Share Posted April 4, 2007 I have one, like it, but really have nothing to compare it to. It's solid built and works well. It has a more "solidstate" sound and does a pretty good job of keeping low end in the signal. Members sultan417 Posted April 4, 2007 Members Share Posted April 4, 2007 I tried one out and thought it sounded pretty good. But in all honesty the Boss ODB-3 sounds better by leaps and bounds. For the money you'd spend on Diesel Dawg you would be far better off buying a Fulltone Bassdrive Mosfet, especially if what you want is tight OD.
