Members BrutalTechnical
I recently traded my Brice HXB 6 string fretless for a Peavey Grind, good trade in my opinion. I noticed though that this Grind is different from the ones both on the Peavey website, as well as other sites I've seen. I belive that mine is not the "NTB" model. Does anyone else have one of these or have an info on them. the wood looks different than the NTB. Any knowledge would be very appreicated. Thanks in advance. Members xOriginalNinjax
It looks like either a Grind NTB, though I've never seen one without the "Grind" logo, or a Cirrus, but I'm pretty sure ALL the Cirrus series say so on the 12th fret. Looks purty though.
Members Rippin' Robin
Hmm, I think it's an older model Grind. Sure are purdy basses, though!!!

Painted body, black headstock, Peavey, Grind, and BXP logos. It may be a switchover proto-type or something...which would be awesome...cuz they went to the NTB about 5 years ago...which has the natural body, side-neck inlays, humbuckers, and a smaller EQ system. Members BrutalTechnical
It's passive like the NTB/newer series grinds, and I know it's not a Cirrus, it would say Cirrus or headstock and inlay. It would be cool if this were a proto. Any guesses on the type of body wood, it dosent look like what there using now (Imbuya)?

I stand wholly corrected. ... Still they're purdy though
Members Death Hands
I've been thinking about getting one of these, but the ones I've seen have that nasty reduced headstock... How do they sound?

Mine sounds pretty darn good. A little on the dark and bassy side but a little EQ-ing goes a long way. I love the passive circuit.
