Members hcintroy
I have a G-K Backline 250 head, but I need a cabinet for it and I'm limited on the budget side of things. can I use a PA speaker? If so, any recommendations? thanks.
Members Funkee1
A PA speaker will work, but won't give you the best possible sound. I might suggest a Behringer (yes, I said it) 2x10 cab or an Avatar cab. Try looking on Ebay or Craigslist for used. You might also try the GK Backline cabs, since you have the head. Members georgestrings
Used Peavey is always your best bet in that circumstance - a decent 115, Black Widow loaded, can be had for $100, or so - a good 210 a bit more... either one will do better than a PA speaker... - georgestrings
