Members Mr.Mow
SO I have my new ampeg amp, the tweeter hisses, I want to either disconnect it or put some cloth over it (yes it does work!) but how and the hell do I get the grill off this thing? There is no access into the cabinet anywhere I can see.. I tried taking out the rear ports, but I just cannot see what is holding the grill on.. Its like its a big sealed unit

Members Roguetitan
take the amp back and have it repaired. You do know that it has a warranty right?
Members Mr.Mow
take the amp back and have it repaired. You do know that it has a warranty right? I don't think its 'faulty' as such, everything I've read about this amp says its an inherent design fault, just a TShirt draped over the tweeter removes all hiss.I love the amp otherwise! Thanks for the velcro tip..
Members Thunderbroom
It indeed hisses by design.
Members johnny6644
Talk about hiss... I plan on disconnecting the tweeter from my Nemesis 2x10... the Avatar has adjustable tweeter.
