Members T. Alan Smith
Wow, definitely overlooked by me. I've got his new age-ish cd Ancient Dreams, which I love. But that's all I knew. I just looked him up and it turns out he's done a lot of stuff that I like a LOT. So I've been a fan of his for years and didn't know it. Mission complete. Members Jim-Bass
Chicago is generally considered pop junk, and Peter Cetera is always thought of as the lead singer, but go back and listen to the early Chicago albums, and you'll find a helluva great bassist!!Listen to whats going on in songs like "Feelin stronger every day" agree ...and I like Graham Gouldman, 10CC .....he was 'almost' the other McCatrney, Ric and all
Members Onkel Bob
...and the guy from Cake too It's more than one guy. Members Jim-Bass
The guy form Interpol and the guy from Cake too Cake - yeah! not just the playing but the tone.....there's one song ( can't recall the name of) that he ends slowly with some notes that said 'McCartney' to me. ...and when I first heard 'The Distance' I thought it so funky that it was a Lenny Kravitz tune (obvioulsy not the voice) ...and Lenny Kravitz ...played bass on his first album and many more ....very good....and Jellyfish, don't know if it was the same player on the 2 albums but he really nailed the 70's sound with some excellent bouncy pop lines
