Members Super_Donut_Man Posted October 11, 2007 Members Posted October 11, 2007 So I signed up for a potluck for a main dish, but I am fresh out of ideas. Somebody is already bringing ribs, chicken, and pasta for the main dishes. I am a pretty decent cook, so it don't have to be something simple, and I don't want to go an buy something premade because I love to cook. I am trying to make something in a crock pot so it can stay warm throughout the day. Thanks
Members Emprov Posted October 11, 2007 Members Posted October 11, 2007 One of the best potluck meals that I can think of: http://www.kqed.org/w/jpfastfood/recipes2.html It cooks for about 2hrs at 200 degrees so it never gets all that warm, it can sit for quite a while if you need it to. You can also cook it on the same platter that you're going to be serving it. Set it out, put the relish on the side in a small bowl with a spoon and you're good to go. I've made it for groups several times and it's always gotten amazing reviews.
