The tolex is very thin on it tho', it scrapes easily so if you're bothered about appearence, be gentle with it. They do sound really really good tho'. I have leant mine to a fellow bassist who is a Primus freak and just lays down Claypool licks all day and the amp copes fine with it and he says its amazing. I agree. I am probably gonna use it in the studio next time I'm in there. oh, don't expect hi-fi tone, this thing is old school! I also practice with it, 4 poece rock band with a hard hitting drummer, just leave the eq flat, maybe a little mid boost, gain on half, volume on half and I can be heard really well.
