Members percyexpat Posted December 18, 2007 Members Share Posted December 18, 2007 Whenever I go to a show where the bass player is playing a "Beatle" bass my first reaction is always, "wow, what the heck is that amazing tone coming from?", and my second reaction is always, invariably, "oooh of course, good God that thing is f**king ugly". Uncomfortable to play I found too when I tried it once. So, getting to the point, what can nail that "Beatle" bass tone without the monstrous uglyness and ergonomic inadaquacies?
