Members Nick*
Naturally, I would be a bass singer and I can project some of the lower notes very nicely. However, why is it easier for me to match pitch in the higher range?

Members Camel42
I'm a baritone. Check out www.myspace.com/postalternative Thats my vox. Does that make sense? Sounds more like a high tenor or even a low alto to me.

I don't know much about hz, but you are right. It is definitely easier to hear them if they are higher. Does anyone else feel this way?
Members supervillain
what he means by hz is the number of sound waves per sec to pass a point. so with a lower end sound the waves are longer/slower and the the higher pitches are shorter/faster waves. the thing with the slower waves is that they can get kind of muddled (think a low end bass guitar and how sometimes it can be difficult to make out the notes) where as the higher pitches don't get as muddled so come through much clearer. it's really just going to take you practice to get used to matching pitch in the lower end. Members Nick*
supervillain, perfect! You described how it feels perfectly. I guess it's a matter of practice practice practice.
Members romvert
Let the sound focus travel out of your higher chest area, and do a lot of pitch training.
