In which case one amp might be better suited for lows. My Mesa M2K wasn't exactly a low heavy amp...but it took FX like a champ. The m2000 sounds that way because of the preamp. I used to use a dbx 120-xp subharmonic synth in the loop (it's going back in!) for years and you'd never say that amp doesn't do lows after hearing that.
