Members Hotblack
Markbass SD800 Markbass 104HR Nice rig. The highs and mids were pristine, but I found the low end a little muddy. (Side note: Take this with a grain of salt as I did not have much time to really fiddle with the controls. For the most part, everything was set at 12 o'clock.) Members T. Alan Smith
I've read that the SD800 sounds quite different from the LMII, but that it's still a great head, just voiced differently. Most folks, including myself, have little use for MB cabs. When you get a chance, try out an MB head with some nicer cabs and let us know what you think. Members T. Alan Smith
Oh- and if the SD800 has the same filters as the LMII, if you had them set at noon, then you had the highs & mids cut big time.
