Members willsellout
The 44-94 is a great bass. Through my computer speakers it sounds almost dead on in comparison to all the other basses. It actually sounded a bit meatier in most of the comparisons. I still want another Lakland with a maple board this time.
Members SmallEQ
I enjoyed that a lot. Through my nice headphones the Lakland defintely has a bit more booty in all the settings. Doesn't mean its good or better, but its there. I still prefer the tone of the Jazz and the Stingray more than the copped tones on the Lakie, but I actually preferred the "Pbass" sound on the Lakland more than the actual P. I'm wondering how much time he put into copying the tones? I wonder if you could get a bit closer? Eitherway, that's close enough for my tastes, without having to buy 3 different basses. That's why I would love a bass with a MM/J config. I was pleasantly surprised by how close he was able to get. I'm really wanting a 55-02. Too bad I'm broke and a joke, and it ain't even funny. Members Kingmaker
It nails the 'ray tone but doesn't really sound all that much like a P-bass.
