Members Thunderbroom
I'm looking for a USB thumb drive that will fit on my key chain, is secure when attached, but can be easily detached to connect to a USB port when needed. Size is not overly important. This drive has a specific purpose. I won't likely need more than 4GB of space max. I know I could look but am thinking someone here may know of something which would save me some time looking. Edit: Thread Likely Closed This connected to my keychain via a quick disconnect device:

Last I saw (which was a while ago) they were a planned product. I'd be interested in a purchase link. Dustin

Members lokidecat
Not Sandisk. I've got two Kingstons and they rock. And 8 Gigs for $16.99 is cool. My favorite, however, is the IronKey It's a bit expensive, but SO neat... Fast 30MBPS Read, 20MBPS Write Drive contents encrypted with AES CBC-Mode Encryption Onboard IronKey Password-manager keeps all your internet passwords safe Secure version of Firefox included that encrypts all your web-surfing traffic Encased in a potted metal case, not plastic, making it one of the strongest USB keys around Exceeds MIL-STD-810F military waterproofing standards The encryption chip self-destructs if an invasive attack is detected If your Ironkey is lost, you can restore from a secure backup to a new Ironkey in minutes Dual channel SLC NAND Flash for high-quality and read/write speeds
