In my part of the state (metrowest) i've never seen a pawn shop, and if there were one, im sure there would be no chance of a golden find. Anyone have any tips on places to check out? I personally think he is addicted to buying things and truly enjoys living with a bunch of trash. What he does is clean up abandonded houses and buildings and sells the stuff out of his house - which is really more like a shack.I started visiting him occasionally after I went to a street festival and talked to one of the performers and he told me a story of how he found his old Ampeg tube amp at a thrift store for $8.00!
