I'll probably have to spend a couple thousand to get it back into shape. Just because the payments are done, doesn't mean that annoyance of car ownership is over. Cars {censored}ing blow. When I was a teenager, my mom was always harping on me to save up enough money to get some real estate. I soooo wished I had listened to her at the time. She grew up in a farming community and her dad (my grandfather) could pick up a handful of dirt, run it through his fingers and tell you what the land was worth.
