Members bassman1964
Gonna try a different cabinet tonight. A buddy is letting me borrow his Eden 8ohm 410T cabinet, Rear ported, to add to my Eden D410XLT 8 ohm cabinet. The 410T will be on top of the XLT. I'll be running them with The Ampeg SVP PRO Tube preamp into a Crown XLS1500 bridged at 4 ohms running at 1550 watts. As some of you know I posted yesterday about having a 4 ohm and 8 ohm cabinet issue. I tried it last night running stereo and it sounded like crap, so I went back to running the 8 ohm cabinet bridged at 1050 watts after the first set. My Buddy wants to sell me the 410T for 500.00. Not really sure about that yet. If I can get enough out of my 4 ohm xlt, and the 410t sounds good tonight, I just may. I play mostly small to mid size clubs in the winter, but in the summer we play alot of outdoor gigs. I am sure I won't need 1500 watts, but its nice to know its there, especially from a power amp that ways 10 pounds. My bass is a Fender Jazz 75 Reissue, going on 3 years old now. Members Zon5string
$500 for a 410T sounds kind of high to me.
