Members gonzobassman
Black Betty by Ram Jam. I played this song in a band before, but its been at least ten years ago (maybe longer).Relearning it,I love just how freaking tight we will have to be on it(no riding 1/8s on the root here). We have the simplest (one guitar, bass, drums, and singer)so arrangement wise I will do just slightly more than the bass does on the record (during the pre-verse guitar build ups).I mentioned over in drummerland that IMO it is a great "drummer spotlight" type of song, but we will all have to be on our toes on it.I think I am really going to enjoy slamming this one out!!! Again!!!

Members gonzobassman
You have to be completly on one page as a band, and it has to be done pretty much exact. No real margin for error!!!
