In comparison, I've had a Schecter Stilleto, Ibanez 6 string, Yamaha and Peavy junkbasses, and now an Ovation abg. This bass is so good. I'm in heaven. Put a little pluck behind the string and that sucker just absolutely jumps to life. No buzzes no nothing. I can only imagine how good the American basses are. Now I know its not all gear, but holy damn. Nearly 10 years without playing and I've almost nailed a song I could never fully do before in 30 minutes (Master of Puppets).
