Members rim Posted August 11, 2005 Members Share Posted August 11, 2005 Our sound person is married to our drummer and we consider her part of the band. The band doesn't play out much and doesn't get paid much either, but we try to give her a share when we can (she insists we don't have to do it but we want to). It's been really good to have her do our sound. Though she took recording classes in college (which is different to live sound but share some basics), she really never did live sound before but she's been improving and is starting to get good. Our band is pretty good though about controlling our own volume so most of the work is during sound check - mostly a set-it-and-forget-it.
