Excelsior Springs is one of those little towns that never misses a chance to screw something up...but this wasn't too bad. The weather was the main problem. I'd been asked to provide some music for the deal. To make a long story short...we had a rain delay. But we went on. The band I played with consisted basically of my son Andrew on drums, and two of his cronies from the band "Ivy's Reach". We got some very positive comments on the short but amazingly tight (for three rehearsals) set we did. I think I might gig with those guys more often... Here's a pic of their band... The guy on the far left is the bassist. Second from right is the guitarist, and on the far right is my son Andrew...the drummer. The other two guys are no longer in the band.
