Just wondering where a good market in the U.S. for someone with my skills would be...thinking of making a move.

Any help?

Any help?

You're desperately needed and would be able to work five days a week here in Austin.

Oh wait, you probably want to be able to make a living too, right? :(

hi Terry D,

Can you define, "Making a living?" What if I brought my own travel trailer, moved it from Wal-Mart parking lot to Wal-Mart parking lot, lived on store-brand extra-sharp cheddar cheese on rye crackers, and brought my own gear? Any chance? :-)

best,

Pardon me for interrupting, just a suggestion: it might be best to win the lottery first before partaking of such a venture.

Now get out and buy some lottery tickets, time's a wastin'.:D

You've heard of "pay to play," right?

Well in Austin, we've also got "pay to mix."

It just occurred to me on another, similar thead.

You wanna do live sound and make decent money?

Go to LAS VEGAS

All the hotels and casinos have sound reinforcement staff and those are union jobs with benefits. That's not hokey Jokey sound support either. They have real FOH positions and very hi end installations.
