Members summit111
My Brothers, Tonight was opening night! The others musicians were pros, but business like. The singers were (4) Divas wearing costumes from the WWII era. The band dressed in black. The local TV station and newspapers were there also. I landed this gig playing drums in a professional "Caberet" style musical. The production is called "Sentimental Journey" and features 1940's jazz and blues. The show runs (5) weeks, (3) times a week. After rehearsals, opening night was a big success. The producers even threw a cast party afterward. This is a big change from my regular band. My gear stays on stage and I have to show up at 7:30 for the 8:00 show. I'm home by 10:00. I can get used to this. All the guys in my regular band were there with their wives giving me moral support.
