Members stegre Posted October 16, 2007 Members Share Posted October 16, 2007 Just played a wedding gig Sunday night and overheard the captain of the wait staff discussing the food service for the evening. He told the servers that the client was paying $162.50 per plate for meal and the wedding was making the hotel $20K for the day. That is the most I had ever heard of for a plate charge. It was $1k per plate and it was POSH. I read recently that Fred Thompson was doing a fundraiser near here and I am sure that the same family is hosting it. Over 100k spent on that wedding but I have no idea how much per plate. Another one they paid our four piece 2k to play for two sets at the rehearsal dinner for 12 people.
