Members RSBro
Always split evenly. We all help load-in, load-out, pitch in when and where needed. If I were filling in or a temp, that'd be a different story.
Members BlueStrat
I pay my guys first ($100/man minimum unless it's an agreed-on benefit) , my expenses second and myself last. Sometimes that last part means there isn't anything left, but that's the way businesses operate. Just more incentive to go get higher paying gigs. Members Zeromus-X
Four way split among four guys. It's a band, and we all have to pull our own weight and work together! This mentality just throws me. If everyone is showing up with their instruments and playing, I can understand this. Are you guys an original band? Playing originals, or playing clubs where the PA and lights are provided, I can understand doing an even split, since everyone is coming in with their own stuff and everyone is just as important. But if one person in the band is making a $5,000 - $10,000 commitment into the band, shouldn't they get some kind of reimbursement for that?
