Members jeff42
I expected an Iron Maiden cover. Me too at first. The video you posted is really cool and I dig stuff like this- It is in the same ballpark as many Symphonic power metal bands that take a lot from classical music. (Pre-TSO Savatage, Nightwish, Kamelot, Rhapsody and so on...) Many folk metal bands use a violin in most of the tunes as a lead instrument. It's interesting stuff if you can get past the growling vocals most Folk Metal bands use. Members mstreck
Haha! Awesome! Maggie is 14 and her new school doesn't have orchestra, so she has a violin that she plays only sporadically, and really doesn't have much inspiration. I'm hoping this Lindsey girl's popularity will help!

I'm hoping this Lindsey girl's popularity will help! when I used to teach drums I noticed for most of my kids they needed something to kickstart them. Once they found it whatever it was; a band they really liked, school band, other friends forming their 1st bands and so on... once they found it- they were off and running! Members jeff42
Power metal is so bad but so good! Some is too "flowery" for me but some I really love. Especially when its a nice combo of Prog & Power.
