Members jw10 Posted October 27, 2012 Members Share Posted October 27, 2012 My pap passed away this wednesday. Veiwing was thursday, funeral friday midday. Being that my mom has eight sisters, that side of the family is a substantial portion of our fanbase. We had a gig friday. And it was great! Despite the loss everyone there was really in a great mood and there was great participation. Members jeff42 Posted October 28, 2012 Members Share Posted October 28, 2012 my condolences, I am sorry for your loss. My father passed last August after being sick for a very long time. Watching a parent suffer is the worst. The day we buried him I gigged that night surrounded by family and friends. It did help alot. None of us wanted to sit home another night so we didn't.
