Another G-Major Question

Actuallly three questions. Can I do a tap tempo from a midi pedal? I have the Rocktron Midimate.

How many effects can I use at one time? Someone told me the G-Major can only do four at a time.

What does the G-Force do that the G-Major can't?

Thanks, I'm new to rack systems.

Yes. I have both.

All of them. Except the ones that are different "sub-effects" (like chorus/flanger, pitch shifter/whammy, etc).

Dunno, never used a G-Force, and because of its price I didn't even look into it :)

mori

Q1: Yes, you can trigger the Tap-Tempo Several ways.

Q2: There are 6 Blocks of FX that can be running, but there's like 4+ different things to choose from in each block.

You shouldn't need more effects than this thing will allow to run at one time.

Q3: The G-Force is a higher-quality version. There are a few more things like more control of the FX routing. The G-Major only has 3 options vs. you have unlimited options on the G-Force.

If this is your first rack, you might want to start with a G-Major. If you've got the cash, go for the G-Force.
