Members bedroomthrasher Posted May 21, 2004 Members Share Posted May 21, 2004 i need some advice on getting a rack amp. i just want to have a rack and speaker cab. i play thrash mostly in my house, but occasionally jam and sometimes cover for a mia/vacationing guitarist. i'm very limited on funds, which limit me to mostly used equip. i really can't afford to pay more than $200. i've been looking at ada microtube 100 and 200 and the carvin dcm150. I've tried the Microtube 200 was pretty good sounding for what you get for the money. its not a tube poweramp but it did have the tubes feel to it due to the 2 12ax7s.
