Members tuvokzeta9
Lots of cons in my book. Too much extra gear and its very dificult to intergrate regular electric guitar and guitar synth. Did it for years ... now I just use an Eventide to get synthy sounds.

True... but when you do have the right equipment/backline it can be great !I
Members jimfowler
i've got an axon 100sb and it works pretty well, but for my money i'll get a small midi controller. guitar synth is a cool idea (it looks pretty rad seeing the guitarist playing the vibes with his guitar) but simply the technology isn't there. you've always got lag and misfires/glitches to contend with. -jim
Members El Grinder
On this, I've got to completely agree with Tuv. I too, stick with my Eventide when I want any synth-like sounds. Though it's not a true guitar synth, it works.
