Members vchizzle
i'm looking at either a new RR 15plus, or a used furman PLplus. same price, same stuff on both for the most part. just wondering mostly whether the RFI/EMI filtering is better on the furman, or if there's any quality compromises in the RackRider. i've got posts like this in amp and effects forum also, shoulda started here first...not much of a rack guy myself though.thanks. Members tubefreak
I recently opened a cheap furman RR series. It has nothing for filtering. It's a nice 19" rack format power strip with a light. No features what so ever on filtering. BTW you could easily upgrade one by installing a filtering unit yourself. These are easy to find a electronic stores and are used in most power supplies. Maarten
Members vchizzle
according to the website, the RR's are supposed to have filtering. i don't know, thats what it says at least on furman's site & in AMS. who knows. pretty lame they advertise filtering of some sort.
