Ive heard alot of good stuff about this noise gate, but i have also heard alot of good stuff about the Rocktron HUSH super C. ANyone used both and have an opinion? THe music i play is metal/hardcore so its relativly high gain. Using a 5150 head, and EMG's in an ESP. Will both noise supressors do the trick? or is one better then the other? Its a pretty big price difference.

Absolutely...

It's basically 2 units in one.

The first you run your guitar into it then to your amps input. This section will take all the guitar noise and interference out.

The second section goes in the loop and is in charge of removing high gain hiss from the preamp.

It's an intelligent unit. Once you set it up for your input, the rest just falls into place.

One thing that you CAN NOT do with any Hush unit is go from super high gain channels to low volume cleans without it clipping your sound.

That by itself is worth the price of admission.

There is truly nothing like the ISP out there, and I've used $1000 studio gates that don't do as good of a job.
