Members losergeek
What do you think about this power amp? what's the going rate? Thanks,Alex
Members Cougar Hunter
going rate is about $500. I got a damaged one for $300, and I got it fixed for $100. I'd say it was totally worth it. They are about 1,000 lbs. in weight. I had to get a separate rack. They take 3 rack spaces too. They look freakin' sweet. They have a lot of in/out plugs. They are definitely professional units. I like the milder "A" voicing much more than the "B" voicing. The B voicing always sounds fuzzy like the intro to "Look what the Cat Dragged in". IT's {censored}ING LOUD BTW. Members tuvokzeta9
I have one and I love it. The 5881s are great sounding. Great amp... maybe 600 used.
Members FINNS
Bought mine 2 years ago off of evilbay for $400 + $65 shipping. It has never let me down and sounds great with everything I have put in front of it. I run 4 4x12's off of it. I had it retubed last June and it is better than ever...50 watts never sounded so damn loud. Really breathes life into POD type devices. EDIT: I actually got it over 3 years ago...time flies... Members psychodave
I bought my Marshall dual monoblock 100/100 this past March for $1,400 out the door. I love it. I slapped some NOS preamp tubes in it and it made a huge difference.
