Members alekke Posted November 10, 2006 Members Share Posted November 10, 2006 let me short this out: I have a little distorded sound on my preamp clean and bypass mode.I thought it is because Im runing it through a bassman head at the moment, but today I connect it to a peavey PA system and it still has a little distortion on clean and bypass mode. Could my EMG 81 be the cause of this?or this is how it supose to be, it is very lihgt overdrive when Im picking harder (like when I pick when its on hi gain) It is distorted on headphones too. My combo has two inputs for such a thing. Do you really want to use EMG's with the clean chan? Use the volume pot in your guitar to cut the problem!
