Liked the sound on my bassman 100 head better because the tubes but it was too weak for me.This one is pretty loud!It is great for PanterA kinda style. so, shut this thread down...C ya! Very aggressive and pretty warm!I think that changing the stock tubes of my engl 530 with EH 12ax7 will reduce the need for a tube poweramp for quite some time!Maybe adding eq stage, but I am satisfied with the sound without eq. How in your opinion the 12ax7's can be used instead of geniune tube stages in power amplification which is usually run on EL34/84 or 6L6 or something?
