Members J.Paul
So I've got everything wired in and am about to start programming...but first I have a question. The Ground Control manual indicates that a "Y-Cord" is needed to split the signal from one loop into the next two to switch from one amp to the other. My question : is the "Y-Cord" they are talking about the same as a ring tip sleeve RTS or is it different? Members sacredgroove
The front input is normalled to both rear outputs, unless you use the feed-thru input. You don't need a Y cable. Scott
Members JMPMarshall
From one loop to the next implies that they're not splitting before the first loop. If you have a pedal shelf you could build or buy a passive Y-Box and fix it to the shelf. That will allow you to use normal 1/4" mono cables throughout the entire rig. I've opted to do this to split between my Marshall and my Mesa preamp as to not make the Y-Cable breaking an achilles heel. How many people you know carry Y-Cables around? Everybody carries extra guitar cables and it's hard to break a pedal fixed firmly to a shelf.
Members sacredgroove
The 2 outs on the GCX can go to your pre's and your pre's out into loop 1 in and return or into loop 1 in and loop 2 in. Scott
