Members Astral-sky Posted August 20, 2008 Members Share Posted August 20, 2008 HiIm looking for a cheap valve power amp for my cover band gigs So far its between the peavey 50/50 & marshall 9005 Has anyone compare the two ? I will be using it with various preamps to see what matches the best.(Peavey Tubes Fex , ADA MP-1 , Pocktron Pro Gap maybe Zoom G9 or Boss GT-8....etc )But I need a Full bodied warm tone with some Tube compression Im not into scooped tones though , just need Classic Tones from Funk to pop , Classic 70's rock to high gain Lead.
