Members slystewart Posted November 17, 2003 Members Share Posted November 17, 2003 Would it be possible to run a dmx signal down a 30 metre multicore to the dimmers etc. Our sound man also works the lights and in the past we have run a XLR type cable along side the sound desk multicore (snake) 30 metre cable,so if at the mixer end we connected on to a spare lead the 3 core dmx cable then at the stage end take the dmx out of the stage box to the dimmers ...can any one see any tech problems in doing this thanks Stewart Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
