Members ned911
Got a show tomorrow night that is on a odd shaped stage (set in the corner of the bar) , is very high off the floor and has tables right up against the edge. Basically you have to put everything on stage. Band: 3 piece 80's - current cover band (www.myspace.com/romanholidayband) Here is my light inventory: 2 ADJ P64 LED Pros and 1 Colorstrip. Been putting the P64's on top of the speakers but they are not connected and run on sound activation, haven't used the Colorstrip yet. I need to get some stands (we are all about quick setup/tear down) so that the 2 P64's can be linked for consistant colors. Also need to mount the Colorstrip. Suggestions? 2 trees? 1 tree and small truss for the CS (lay it on the ground?) I've got budget for another light. Should I get another P64 Pro to aim at the drummer or something else? Help is appreciated as always.
Members BillESC
You could continue to mount the P64's to the speakers and still link them for Master/Slave usage. If the wall behink you is blank and a light color, you could use the Colorstrip on the floor as a wall wash. If not a simple lighting tripod under $ 50.00 will allow you to use it as back lighting on the band.
