Chauvet Colorstrip Mini sound-activated modes question

I recently purchases a Chauvet Colorstrip Mini and have been experimenting with the sound activated modes. (I have no prior experience with and newer LED lighting) While playing with the sensitivity setting for sound, I've noticed that if a few seconds go by where the unit does not register sound (as shown by the green light), it will go on with the pattern anyhow.

 

I'm wondering if it is possible to change whatever setting this is, so that the unit will do nothing when it's not registering sound.
