Members soundlight Posted March 26, 2013 Members Share Posted March 26, 2013 I've always been disappointed by the LED layout on the Blizzard Q6A/Q6W and Q12A/Q12W - looks like the guys at Blizzard have come out with a new contender in the RGBA/RGBW market that has a way better LED layout! I know y'all love your Fab 5s but personally I'm quite content mixing in RGBA space. The new Blizzard HotBox, based off the recently released RokBox and RokPix, looks to be one hot fixture! (7) 10W Quad Color LEDs - that's 70 watts of LED power. MAP is only $240. I paid that much for fixtures with (7) 3W Tri-LEDs just a few years ago! The close LED spacing, small package, PowerCon compatible (not geuine PowerCon, but they work with PowerCon) connectors, and WiCicle enabled DMX port make this a real winner in my book. ****** Here's the Blizzard blurb. ***** Just like its big brother the RokBox Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
