Members Intruder1400 Posted October 23, 2013 Members Share Posted October 23, 2013 What is the difference between auto playback of a bank of scenes and a chase.Why choose to play a chase rather than scenes?Is it only because you can take scenes from multiple banks and put them in chases?Also, when you delete scenes from banks do the chases containing the scenes still work?Sorry, only been messing with dmx for 1 day. The manuals that come with boards do not tell you very much.I am using a Chauvet obey70 and only a few lights.So far it's a blast to play with. Members BillESC Posted October 23, 2013 Members Share Posted October 23, 2013 A bank is only 8 steps whereas a Chase can have 240 steps. This allows you to build a 'show' that loops a number of scenes, then changes to other scenes, than back to the original loop.I believe deleting a scene will remove it from a chase.
