Members bassknave
Did the second night of a two-nighter Saturday, and when checking the system before we hit, found that there were no drums in the mix at all. I pulled the inserts and got the drums back. There seems to have been some kind of global failure with my Presonus ACP-88. All the normal LEDS are lit (so it's not likely a PS or rectifier problem) but a couple of compressor gain ladders are fully lit, too--even without signal. The problem with the unit is global. No output on any channel. Thoughts, guys?
Members bstaley
I had a similar problem on my ACP-8 a year or two ago. Two of the channels had the gain reduction lights all light up. The sound still passed through but the compressor and gate had no effect. I sent it to Presonus and they took good care of me and Fed-Exed it back to me so I could use it the next weekend. Give their tech support a call.
Members rickkreuzer
I've run into that myself. In my case, I just checked the returns out of each strip on the back. They were just a hair out and didn't work. Now it's just automatic that I make sure they're snug. Rick
