Members BIGB Posted November 12, 2003 Members Share Posted November 12, 2003 Was looking to change from Behringer Quad Compressor (MDX 4400) and Dual Compressor MDX 2200 to BSS DPR404, or something in between, but is it worth the price difference. I know you can't get something for nothing, but on the Quad Behringer about $150 compared to BSS Quad 404 ( best price I've found is $1086. What do you guys think........ And yes there is a definite sound difference. I have two 404's and they are really clean, and the compression is extremely smooth.
