Members dw kleine
My folk trio is getting tired of hauling around our heavy power amp mixer rig. We've barrowed a friend's Carvin powered mixer and it worked great.I was wondering about the Behringer PMH8805 powered mixer just because it's a little cheaper. Anyone out there use one and can compare it to the Carvin? Thanks
Members Smitty-PNS
Which Carvin did your friend let you use? It is hard to compare if we don't know.
Members Smitty-PNS
If you are comparing it to the Carvin XP880, then I would get the Carvin. I have a Behringer PMH5000. It is loaded with nice features but it sure does not seem to put out any where near 800 watts. I suspect the PMH880S has the same lame output because they describe the same "CoolAudio amplifier". Also Carvin is hard beat for price/value because they sell direct. P.S. I have the Behringer as a barter payment from a local music store.
