Members Dave drums
I am looking into getting a in ear systen for my band. I was wondering what you all were using & why. Do you like this method better than traditational wedge's. Just any thoughts. Also is a wierless system a good choice to use in the studio?Thanx in advance for your help. Members jwlussow
Lots of threads on this...look around. I like the Shure PSM200. Great compromise between cost and features. In ears are great but they do have a learning curve. I assume you are the drummer so some of this will not effect you as much as the guys/girls up front (can't hear requests unless you remove the earbud - there are some interesting workarounds mentioned on this site). Get as good a quality earbud as you can afford. I switched out the E2's for E5s with custom molds. I love 'em. We use them live and in the rehearsal studio. When recording, just go with cans.
