Members dreamSailor
Hey all. I wondered how I could change my vocals live on stage to get that computerized sound and then shut it off again? Here is an example in case you don't know what the heck I am talking about. Members trevcda
It's a vocoder. a number of companies make them. I use a digitech VFM-5 and a midi keyboard to achieve a simular result. Korg also makes a keybaord with a mic built in that will probably do the same thing. These are fairly inexpensive ways to go, but better results might be had with Evantide as it will generally track the vocal line better.

Members abzurd
My Voiceworks supposedly can do it, although I've never tried. You use the pitch correct feature and set it as tight as you can so basically it ignores everything except exact pitches - no slides, bends, vibrato. The Voicelive would probably have a similar functionality. Not cheap though.
