Members Gary in NJ
I had an off weekend from gigging so I went to hear another band last night. Good band - nice and tight. One of the things I really enjoyed was the FOH speakers they were using; RCF ART 525A's. What a nice, clear and articulate speaker system that is. When the harmonica player started whaling, I swear it was like he was playing right next to me. I thought these boxes were well balanced. RCF is now on my shopping list. Members Vinny D
I have been using the passive version RCF ART325i cabs for about a year now and I still claim that the ART series cabs have the best sounding horn in there price range, they stay very clean sounding even when being pushed hard, great cabs! Members abzurd
I have 522A's and 322A's and I agree. The horn is VERY good. Also, about as low a crossover point woofer to horn as you'll find at 1,200 Hz. IMO, this really opens up the sound of the woofer and pushes the mids and highs into the crowd. Best described as aggressive without being harsh. The 522A's in particular can get crazy loud and still sound like they're breathing easy.
